Product Information
What are Wicked Wax candles made of?
Wicked Wax candles are crafted using a premium soy wax, beeswax, and coconut oil blend. Neon candles get their vibrant hues from mica powder, while metallic candles combine dye and mica powder for their unique finish. These candles are designed for safe, smooth wax play. Please note: they are not vegan due to the inclusion of beeswax.
Are Wicked Wax candles safe for the skin?
Yes! Our candles are specially formulated for wax play, featuring a low melting point that is safe for the skin when used as directed. Always test a small amount on the inside of your forearm before use to ensure you’re comfortable with the temperature and ingredients. Avoid use on broken or irritated skin.
Do the candles stain fabrics or surfaces?
Our candles are easy to clean, but we recommend protecting surfaces to avoid potential stains, especially with metallic candles. Wax can typically be removed using warm water and soap or by gently scraping it off hard surfaces.
Usage Guidelines
How do I safely use Wicked Wax candles for wax play?
Light the candle and let a small pool of wax form.
Extinguish the flame before pouring the wax.
Hold the candle at least 12–18 inches above the skin to allow the wax to cool slightly.
Begin with a small amount and adjust based on comfort.
Preparing for wax play
Ensure the skin is well-oiled to make wax removal easier.
Protect surrounding areas, such as furniture or bedding, with towels or a plastic sheet to prevent staining.
Removing wax from the skin
Once the wax has solidified, gently remove it using a butter knife or credit card. For any residue, use a warm towel or rinse in the shower. Avoid using sharp objects to prevent irritation.
Can I use your candles on all areas of the body?
Wicked Wax candles are safe for most areas but should not be used on the face, genitalia, or broken/irritated skin. Always test wax on the forearm before broader use.
Does the wax stick to body hair?
No, our candles do not stick to body hair and can easily slide off the skin.
Health and Safety
Are Wicked Wax candles hypoallergenic?
While our candles use carefully selected ingredients, they are not labeled as hypoallergenic. Always patch-test before use.
Can I use your candles if I have sensitive skin?
Yes, but we recommend performing a patch test to ensure no irritation.
What should I do if I have a reaction to the wax?
If irritation occurs, wash the area with warm water and soap and apply a soothing moisturizer. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.
